Very100 Small Scattering Urns (Set of 4)
The Very100 scattering tubes are crafted from bamboo and showcase a tree of life engraving, symbolizing life returning to nature. Each tube measures 9 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter, enabling a one-hand grip for easy handling during ceremonies. A tight-sealing cap helps prevent spills when transporting remains between locations.
These eco-friendly tubes are designed for holding partial human cremated remains, making them suitable for family sharing or for discreet ceremonies. Their compact size facilitates discreet handling while maintaining a respectful presentation for the final commemorative act.
Materials and design emphasize sustainability, with natural bamboo construction that aligns with environmentally conscious burial or scattering practices. The set of four provides multiple vessels for a single loved one or for sharing among family members.
Aurora Borealis Scattering Tubes (TSA-Ready)
These scattering tubes emphasize a meaningful tribute with hand-finished artwork and thoughtful functionality. They function well as burial urns for human ashes or as a dignified option for scattering ceremonies. The design prioritizes a graceful disposal of remains while providing a visually striking aesthetic.
Constructed from all-natural, biodegradable materials, these urns avoid metal or plastic, supporting environmentally responsible services for land or sea burials. The tubes are designed to scatter ashes gently and with precision, maintaining a respectful, ceremonial atmosphere.
The Aurora Borealis design aims to honor a loved one’s life with elegance, combining artwork with a practical, user-friendly form for ceremonies in various settings.
HOOMTREE Scattering Tubes (Bamboo, Large)
Crafted from bamboo with a Tree of Life pattern, HOOMTREE’s tube measures 9 inches long and 3.5 inches in diameter, holding about 55 cubic inches of ash. Its robust 0.27 inch thick walls and solid construction reduce the risk of breakage, and the cap seals firmly to prevent spills during transport or storage.
The design accommodates a larger amount of remains and is suitable for families seeking to share ashes among multiple recipients. The natural finish and craftsmanship reflect a respectful, nature-inspired approach to memorial rites.
The bamboo body and lid are designed for a uniform diameter, enhancing the seal and ensuring a tight fit for secure transport and handling.
Ocean Sunset Scattering Urn (Large)
The Ocean Sunset scattering urn combines a nautical-inspired design with practical biodegradability. Its large form provides ample capacity for transporting ashes to a final resting place, whether used for travel by air or sea. The design facilitates controlled, gentle dispersion during scattering ceremonies.
This option is suitable for travelers, with airlines permitting the tube to be carried as hand luggage in many cases. A push-in tab allows opening the lid at the appropriate moment, ensuring a calm and controlled scattering process that respects the ceremony and attendees.
The overall ergonomic shape offers comfortable handling, with a slim profile that fits naturally in the hand during ceremonial operations.
Very100 Small Scattering Urns (Set of 2)
This smaller set offers the same bamboo craftsmanship and Tree of Life motif as the four-pack, but in a pair. With 9 by 2 inches dimensions, these urns are convenient for limited sharing or for placing individual keepsakes alongside photos and memories during a memorial service.
The packaging emphasizes sustainable materials and a secure cap design to prevent accidental spills. The set is suitable for families seeking a modest but meaningful option that preserves the aesthetics of the memorial ceremony.
COSYOO Bamboo Scattering Urn Set
Eight-piece bamboo scattering urn set designed for durability and aesthetic appeal. Each tube measures 9 inches by 2 inches, with a tightly sealed lid to prevent spillage. The bamboo construction provides a natural, artful appearance suitable for indoor display next to memorial photos or outdoors in a ceremonial setting.
The flat-bottom design ensures stable standing on tabletops, supporting a respectful display during remembrance moments. As an all-natural option, the COSYOO set aligns with environmentally mindful scattering practices.
Thyle 4 Set Bamboo Scattering Urns
The Thyle set includes four bamboo urns plus four black velvet bags for secure transport. Each urn measures about 1.97 x 1.97 x 9.06 inches and holds roughly 20 cubic inches. The urns are described as strong, reliable, and odorless, with smooth and textured surfaces for a dignified presentation during a memorial event.
The included velvet bags provide discreet, protective storage for carrying ashes to scattering sites, while maintaining a respectful appearance during transit and service.
Buying Guide: Key Considerations And Comparisons
- Material and environmental impact: Bamboo and other natural materials offer eco-friendly options with minimal environmental footprint compared to metal or plastic urns. Look for biodegradability and avoid non-recyclables when possible.
- Size and capacity: Consider how much ash needs to be stored or divided among family members. Smaller tubes work well for partial remains or keepsakes, while larger volumes or multiple tubes support family sharing.
- Sealing mechanism: A tight-seal cap helps prevent spills during transport and scattering. Check whether the cap requires a specific action (for example, twisting counterclockwise) to release or seal the tube securely.
- Portability: For ceremonies away from home or for air travel, confirm airline policies on urns and whether the container is permitted in carry-on luggage. A slim, ergonomic design aids in handling during ceremonies.
- Aesthetic and symbolism: Designs such as Tree of Life, ocean scenes, or other artwork provide personal significance. Choose patterns and finishes that reflect the deceased’s personality or cherished memories.
- Quantity and value: Sets ranging from 2 to 8 tubes offer flexibility for sharing ashes among relatives or for multiple memorial moments. Consider whether you need a single large urn or a multi-pack for family participation.
- Durability and longevity: Solid bamboo constructions with reinforced walls reduce the risk of breakage when transporting remains or moving between locations.
- Care and maintenance: Natural materials may require gentle handling and avoidance of moisture exposure to maintain appearance and integrity over time.
- Shipping considerations: If ordering online, ensure packaging protects contents and that the selected product complies with your venue or ceremony requirements.
- Ethical and cultural alignment: Some families prefer fully compostable or sea-friendly options for burial at sea. Review product descriptions for alignment with your service preferences.
